Free, with nothing to sign up for

MajorPays covers 6,572 schools and 2,143 majors. There are no accounts, no logins and no fees for your students or your staff. Every page is a plain, crawlable web page you can link to directly. Everything shown comes from public U.S. government sources (College Scorecard, IPEDS, O*NET, BLS, the Census Bureau and others; see Data sources below).

Who it's for

Ways to use it with students

1. Link to your school's profile. Look up your school in the Institution profile tool, which covers all 6,572 schools, then copy the address from your browser. The address includes the school's ID, so it links straight back to that school.

About 100 schools also have a full program-by-program page. For example:

majorpays.com/school/university-of-michigan-ann-arbor/

2. Link to a specific major or career. Every major field and degree level (about 480 pages) and every career (about 1,000) has its own page, reachable from Search any program and Search any career. These work well in advising handouts, major-exploration pages and first-year seminar materials.

3. Send students to Career Compass. Career Compass lets a student start from what they're considering studying and see where it leads.

4. Add a link to your website. A link is all it takes. You can copy this:

Your students' privacy

MajorPays doesn’t collect personal information. It counts visits with a cookie-free counter (GoatCounter) and shows Google AdSense ads, which may use cookies. Searches are filtered in the student’s own browser. See the privacy policy for details.

Where the data comes from

Using these figures

MajorPays is an information tool built on public data. Earnings figures are medians for past graduates and don't predict any individual's outcome. Colleges should have their compliance office review any use of these figures in advertising or recruiting materials.
